Making ten and other tidy numbers
Group 2 have been learning about tidy numbers and rounding numbers to the nearest ten to make it easier to add and subtract. We can make the numbers with materials, break numbers into parts to make tidy numbers and then add or subtract to find the answer.
This is the strategy that we have been learning.
Learning our Doubles.
All of the groups have been learning their doubles and have been playing Doubles Bingo. We are getting really fast at just 'knowing' our doubles now.
