Double Sided Counters
We are learning all about the facts to 10. We use different numbers of double sided counters in a cup and spread them on the table. We look for groups of numbers. today we are using 10 counters to help us learn the facts of 10.
What's hiding in the Cup?
We are working on just knowing our facts to 10. Today we had 10 pieces of multilink in a cup. We put some on the table and our partner had to guess how many were still hiding in the cup. We have to share how we know by saying the basic fact.

Basic Facts Mat
We have been looking at different ways to learn our basic facts. Today Group 2 used the Basic Facts Mats to show our fact in lots of different ways.
We are learning to:
'Make it' with different materials
'Draw it' with our own pictures or diagrams
'Say it' to help remember it
'Write it" in numbers and words
Here are some of our first attempts!
